Terms and Conditions

Registration is required two weeks in advance of the start date of the course and will be considered on a first come, first served basis. However, there are occasions when we can accept late registrations. If you would like to register for a course after the deadline, please contact us directly for availability. Registrations may be submitted via our web site or by faxing a completed registration form. Your registration is complete upon receipt of confirmation from us. You will receive a confirmation of your registration via e-mail.

Fees:

$175 per participant.

It is Accelrys' policy that all training be paid for in advance of the training event, by cash, check, credit card (MasterCard, Visa, or American Express only). Details of payment methods will be included in your registration confirmation. All fees quoted include local taxes that may apply. Course registration fees cover:

• Access to instructors during the course
• Training materials

Cancellation:

Cancellations without penalty must be made at least two weeks prior to the commencement of the course. Cancellation after this date incurs the following penalties:

• Between 13 days and 48 hours before course commencement – 50% refund
• Less than 48 hours – no refund

Cancellations may be submitted by letter, e-mail, or fax, and are considered accepted upon confirmation from us. In the event of cancellation with penalty, the appropriate training materials will be sent upon request.

Accelrys may cancel the event due to insufficient attendance, usually less than four registrants. The decision will be made not later than two weeks before the beginning of the workshop. If so, every effort will be made to contact all registrants at the contact details provided on their registration form.

In the case of unforeseen events, Accelrys reserves the right to cancel a course. Accelrys will, if possible, provide notice of any such cancellation at least 5 days prior to the scheduled start of the course. Every effort will be made to contact all registrants at the contact details provided on their registration form. Where possible, an alternative set of dates will be offered. If Accelrys cancels a course, 100% of the course registration fee will be refunded.

Course Materials:

Accelrys reserves all rights, which include rights of translation, reprinting, duplication and excerpts of training material. No part or parts of the course material may be duplicated or provided to a third party without the express written permission of Accelrys. Additionally, Accelrys reserves the right to modify course content and material without notice.

General:

Course attendees select and attend courses at their own risk. The Accelrys Training Group is happy to advise on the suitability of any individual course; however, Accelrys and its employees accept no responsibility for a course not meeting the user's requirements. The respective course will be carefully prepared and executed by Accelrys staff.

The training is provided "as-is" without any warranties. Accelrys makes no warranties, express or implied, and Accelrys expressly disclaims any implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. Accelrys’ liability for any losses or damages that arise out of the training or failure to perform the training, whether in contract, tort, or other form of action, shall not exceed the total fees paid to Accelrys for the training. In no event shall Accelrys be liable for any special, incidental, or consequential damages, including, but not limited to, lost profits, loss of goodwill, data loss, business disruption, or computer failure.

These terms and conditions are valid for all Accelrys training events.
