Overview and Audience: Advanced Reporting Training

This course covers the use of the advance and prototypes element components available in the SciTegic Pipeline Pilot Reporting collection. The course covers the use of Javascript and AJAX  element components and how to use them to build dynamic web application reports that can be deployed either from the thick client or via Pipeline Pilot Web Port. The course is intended for users already familiar with customizing components and developing custom protocols. Training on the reporting collection is mandatory for this training. Basic knowledge of javascript is preferable.

Advance reporting also cover usage of components dedicated to creation of Powerpoint presentation using Pipeline Pilot.

This course is a half-day class.

On completion of the workshop attendees should:

• Have the ability to create highly interactive report through javascript
• Have the ability to create dashboard and web application in an AJAX framework
• Have the ability to use external javascript libraries to create new interactive components
• Create protocol to generate Powerpoint presentation from your data
